The People Behind Zolovex

Zolovex didn’t begin with a roadmap or a pitch deck — it began with a problem: institutional quantitative investing had performance and rigor few individuals could access, along with the transparency and control they deserved.

Why We Built Zolovex

The highest-performing strategies aren't built on charisma or hunches. They're built by engineers, mathematicians, and data scientists who turn markets into repeatable systems. Zolovex exists to bring that approach to people and families who deserve to invest in a systematic, transparent, and accountable way.

Founder's Note

I didn’t grow up inside finance — I found my way in through hands-on work and partnerships with people who knew the business. Working alongside brokers, advisors, and algorithmic teams showed me a simple truth: truly disciplined, systematic capital management is often out of reach for most people. Institutions had the data, infrastructure, and processes; retail alternatives were too discretionary, opaque, or marketed with unrealistic promises. That gap is why I built Zolovex — to bring institutional rigor to everyday investors without taking away their control.

Our focus is straightforward: reliable, responsible technology that protects client capital and keeps control in the investor’s hands. We pair risk-aware algorithmic design with execution that runs in each client’s own brokerage account, emphasizing transparency, sensible targets, and honest incentives. No hype — just measurable discipline, continual improvement, and a commitment to make professional-grade strategies accessible. If that approach resonates, I’d be glad to show how it works.

I didn’t come from wealth or a lifetime of privileged access to markets — I’m an ordinary person who found my way into the trading world through hands-on experience with brokers, financial advisors, and algorithmic trading teams. Over time I watched how too many people prioritize short-term gain over doing things the right way. I saw practices driven by greed that hurt trust, and I wanted to build something different.

That experience led me to start Zolovex. I believe AI is a powerful, democratizing tool that can help ordinary people access better financial outcomes, but access alone isn’t enough. Technology must be paired with responsibility, clear incentives, and a commitment to protect the people who trust it. At Zolovex, we are focused on building software that respects client capital, targets sensible, measurable returns, and avoids hype or misleading promises.

Transparency is central to our approach. We believe relationships — whether with clients, partners, or the team — are built on trust, and trust requires openness. I also want to be clear: the company is not a one-person effort. I’m fortunate to lead a dedicated team that shares the same values and commitment to doing this the right way. Their skill, judgment, and integrity are the reason Zolovex exists.

My invitation to anyone reading this is straightforward: give us the opportunity to show what responsible, people-first technology can do. We’re not promising magic; we’re promising honest work, continual improvement, and a partnership focused on long-term outcomes. If our mission resonates with you, I’d welcome the chance to meet and explore how we can work together.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Building systematic trading technology is fundamentally an engineering problem: reliable data pipelines, rigorously validated models, and risk systems that hold regardless of short-term incentives. That is the standard Zolovex is built to — a customer-centric design where the investor keeps custody and control, and a balance between innovation and operational safety.

What We Built — Zolovex's Approach

Institutional Methodology, Made Accessible

Zolovex combines quantitative research with modern AI and production-grade engineering, turning repeatable market patterns into disciplined, risk-aware strategies — without sacrificing accountability.

Core principles

Capital preservation and controlled growth

The goal isn't only to protect capital, but to pursue systematic, careful growth, within drawdown controls, stress testing across market scenarios, and conservative position sizing. It's important to note: markets carry no certainty, and we cannot guarantee any return or future outcome.

Transparency

Trade-level visibility, so investors can see how the system actually behaves.

Alignment of interests

We aim to operate under the same rules as our clients, wherever practical.

Continuous research

Models are reassessed and rebalanced as markets evolve, rather than built once and left alone.

Technology & Capabilities

At Zolovex, we treat investing as an engineering problem. It starts with data: market quotes, options and futures prints, macro releases, and select alternative sources. We clean the data, timestamp it, and enrich it with derived features, so signals are built on clean input rather than noise.

Data flows through fault-tolerant pipelines into versioned, auditable stores. When a researcher asks where a signal came from, we can trace it — the source feed, the transform, the model input, and the final signal.

Our research team builds factors that are intuitive and testable: momentum and mean-reversion, liquidity and microstructure metrics, macro sensitivities. We incorporate regime detection, so models can account for both normal and abnormal market conditions, and we test against historical and synthetic stress scenarios to filter out strategies that look good on paper but don't hold up in practice.

We use machine learning selectively, favoring components that are stable and explainable, paired with traditional parametric frameworks. Models retrain on rolling windows, with human review as part of the process when performance shifts materially.

Execution runs directly into each client's own brokerage account — Zolovex acts as execution agent, not custodian. Every order carries a pre-trade rationale and a reconciled post-trade record.

Risk management is built into the architecture rather than added afterward: real-time exposure monitoring, factor loadings, liquidity concentration, and drawdown limits, with human oversight when markets move outside expected conditions.

What Investors Experience

Working with Zolovex means visibility into trades as they happen, and the logic behind them. Your assets stay in your own brokerage account, and you can pause or withdraw in line with the terms of your agreement.

We document risk limits, target objectives, and the terms for how the relationship operates and can be ended. We aim to keep clients informed as our approach evolves, and provide performance reporting appropriate to each client relationship.

The People Who Build the System / Our Approach to Risk

The People Who Build the System

Zolovex is built by engineers, researchers, operators, and advisors. Quants translate research into production-ready signals. ML engineers turn signals into resilient, monitored services. Data engineers build the pipelines that make honest backtesting possible. Portfolio and risk managers set constraints and make judgment calls where models need human input. Client experience and operations teams handle onboarding and reporting.

We also work with external advisors on compliance and controls, to help align our practices with industry standards.

Our Approach to Risk

Capital preservation sits at the foundation of our approach, alongside a goal of controlled, responsible growth of capital over time. This principle shapes how we design models, set risk budgets, and build operational workflows — every decision is weighed against its downside impact before we consider upside potential. To be clear: this describes a way of working, not a guarantee of returns or performance — investing in markets carries risk, and we cannot predict the future.

We aim for clear reporting, sound governance, and giving clients meaningful control over their own capital, consistent with the terms of each engagement.

"

I built Zolovex because I don't think systematic, disciplined investing should be reserved only for the largest institutions. If a strategy is worth trusting, it needs to be transparent and built with capital preservation as the top priority. That's what we're working to deliver.
